Payroll Specialist
Full Time
Job Purpose
The Payroll Specialist maintains positive employee relations and is responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinating payroll using the HRIS system.
- Tracking attendance and leaves of absence.
- Assisting employees with the HRIS system.
- Clerical duties (copying, filing, making phone calls, data entry, etc.)
- Answers frequently asked questions relative to standard policies, benefits, and HR processes.
- Maintains timely, accurate, and up-to-date human resources electronic files, records, and documentation.
- Completing employment verifications and other forms for employees.
- Maintain control of confidential records.
- Collaboration and assistance with the administration of various Human Resource functions including payroll, open enrollment, and year-end processes.
- Responsible for assisting with incoming and outgoing HR correspondence including assisting with managing HR phone line and HR connection email.
- Provide administrative and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs including distributing materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions.
- Process changes within deadlines.
- Understanding, demonstrating, and applying Fullerton Tool Company's core values.
- Clerical duties (copying, filing, making phone calls, data entry, etc.)
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area (5S).
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Education/Skills
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Computer skills required; working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Previous administrative/payroll experience preferred.
Multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize.
Communication skills both verbal and in writing.
Commitment to employee satisfaction.

Computer, telephone, copy machine (including scanning).
Working Conditions
Professional office environment; sitting for a long period of time.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling.
